Is today a bad day or should we all think again.

Is today a bad day?

Did you miss your bus? Did you burn your dinner? Did your favourite football team lose? Won't your parents stop shouting at you? Did you fail your maths exam? Is today really that bad? Although when all of these things decide to happen all in that one day, that day does feel pretty bad and you do start to feel pretty rubbish. It feels like one bad event leads to another and it's endless. However these little things we shouldn't complain about. Everyone does it, we're human, we naturally feel sorry for ourselves if something doesn't go quite right. But recently I've been doing my normal watch of documentaries and do you know what, we haven't got it half bad. We have a roof over our heads, we have food on the table, a pillow to rest our heads on after a long day and a future to look forward to. Actually we haven't got it 'half bad' we've got it great. If we set our mind on something we can succeed! I'm not saying that our success comes from ease, it comes from hard work and determination. But I am saying that we should all take a second, a day, a moment in our lives to be grateful for what we've had or have. So this is mine, thank you for all the support from my boyfriend, my family, my friends, my colleagues and even the strangers that I've passed in the street for the smile, or the god bless from the customer at work. Thank you for being a part of my life and guiding me through the bad days. At first we might not succeed but we must try and try again. There should never be a back up plan if you want something, you work hard and you get it. Respect the people in your life that make your smile and walk away from the people that make you cry. Life is short and no one should waste their time on negativity.
