Surround yourself with happiness

Isn't it weird as humans we always manage to find a way to put ourselves down, or is that just me? Am I the only human that just sees multiple flaws in myself on a daily basis. - awkwardly just made a stupid spelling mistake and said "multiple floors", well done Shannon, a-level English really paid off. 

Anyway carrying on.. I set myself a goal for the new year to be far more positive about every situation and to find ways that motivate me to so. Starting with filling my room with wonderful pictures of the people I love. But recently I saw the cutest picture on Pinterest of some cute polaroids hanging across someone's wall & I had to give it a go. So I printed some polaroids of Huggleup, adding a few quotes in along the way. I used to only read negative quotes but then I realised why am I reading things that actually make me feel unhappy, reminding me of events that I didn't wish to think about. Whereas the happy quotes make me feel empowered, like my presence makes a difference and that I should always look at things from a positive perspective.

So here's how it looks at the moment.

It's just a gentle reminder that there are so many things to live for. Surround yourself with positive things, with positive people. Don't let individuals distract you from the happiness you deserve. Each day is a new page your book. You write the book, you chose the characters who play the parts. Don't waste time chasing people who have already shown you they're not worth your time.
